Position Summary

We are looking for two (02) dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented individuals to join our Business Development & Research Department as Assistant Business Development Officer. The ideal candidates will have prior experience in business development, research, and proposal writing in the development and consultancy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of Expressions of Interest (EOI), Technical Proposals, Concept Notes, and Request for Proposals (RFPs) in line with donor requirements.
  • Conduct background research and contribute to the preparation of high-quality proposals and reports.
  • Support the design and execution of research methodologies for consultancy and development projects.
  • Prepare policy briefs, guidelines, training materials, workshop modules, and M&E frameworks.
  • Collect and review advertisements and tender opportunities; assist in proposal submission processes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Draft official correspondence, office memos, and professional emails in English and Bangla.
  • Support data collection, tool development, literature reviews, and report writing.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, presentations, and training sessions.
  • Ensure quality control and ethical standards are maintained in all research activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university in Bangladesh.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in business development, fundraising, research, and proposal writing for national and international clients.

Key Competencies and Skills

  • Sound understanding of project cycle management, client regulations, and development trends.
  • Strong analytical and research skills; knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills.
